Facility Specialist Job

The Facility Specialist will support Newell Rubbermaid's Facility Manager to maintain a safe, secure and comfortable working environment throughout the Newell Rubbermaid campus. This individual will also implement, organize, and monitor effective office service, mail, and facility task solutions as a strategic approach to total facility management.

Specific Responsibilities:

·Mail services (shipping, receiving and delivery)

·Copy and print services

·Stock and distribute supplies (copy paper, refreshments, mail packaging)

·General maintenance (light bulbs, air quality, painting, light-janitorial)

·Box equipment and assist with employee moves

·Furniture moves, reconfigurations and repairs

·Relieve receptionist for breaks and lunch

·Maintain key program (offices and furniture)

·Facilitate outside services and vendor tasks to maintain efficiency

·Pre / post meeting support (setup and cleanup)

·Assist with supply management at the facility

·Transport passengers and equipment utilizing company vehicles

·
Experience, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

·4 years related work experience preferred

·2- 4 years experience in professional setting

·Excellent organizational skills

·Must be adept in the use of the Microsoft Office suite

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·A desire to work in a team based environment

·High energy, detail focused, action oriented contributor with growth potential

·Strong communication skills

·Heavy lifting 50 lbs

·Clean drivers license

·Ability to operate various hand tools and equipment

·Proven ability to diagnose and repair problems with light office equipment and furniture
