Senior Tax Analyst Job

The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for assisting in tax compliance, planning, accounting and audit defense projects which will include involvement in acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations. In this position, the Tax Analyst will assist in preparation of business unit's annual tax packages, assist in the preparation of the federal consolidated 1120 and assist in the preparation of the international compliance forms (1118, 5471s, 8865s, etc.). Additionally, the analyst will assist in the preparation of state income tax returns, assist in the defense of the company in federal and state income, as well as sales and use tax audits.
Additional responsibilities will include:
· Preparation of monthly and annual income tax provision summaries, account reconciliations, and deferred tax analysis, assist in the preparation and maintenance of tax department Sarbanes documentation.
· Assist in planning for acquisitions and divestitures
· Assist in the implementation of domestic, state and international tax planning strategies
· Work with the treasury, legal and accounting functions on reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures, and tax planning implementation
· Remain informed with respect to tax law developments and their impact on the company
· 3 - 5 years experience in either public accounting or industry
· Strong tax technical skills and base of accounting skills
· Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, people, project management and organizational skills
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
· Highly motivated, aggressive, creative, articulate, results oriented
· Supervisory experience is desirable
· Ability to grow and change with the organization
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
