The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for using creative recruiting methods to identify both active and passive candidates for the organization for a variety of functions. This person will work directly with Talent Acquisition Managers to assist with open requisitions nationwide through sourcing, screening, and interviewing a diverse slate of applicants. This individual will review and evaluate applicant's work history, education, training, and other qualifications, as well as, notify applicants of consideration or rejection and interview those selected that meet the organization's qualifications. This person may need to perform reference and background checks, prepare and extend job offers, and prepare and/or authorize appropriate paperwork. The Specialist will participate in the design and placement of employment advertising as necessary in order to find qualified candidates. This person may arrange for interviews and travel/lodging of selected applicants as necessary. This person will work with Taleo on a daily basis to manage candidates throughout the interview process.
·Bachelors / University degree
·1-2 years of recruiting experience, preferably with an agency; 3 years full time work experience maximum
·Proven, results oriented recruiting background
·Ability to work independently
·Strong leadership skills
·A desire to work in a team based environment
·High energy, detail focused, action-oriented contributor with growth potential
Preferred Qualifications:
·Experience using Taleo or similar Applicant Tracking System preferred
·Experience using social networking or recruiting passive candidates preferred
