Sales Supervisor - Promoter Sales Force Job

This is a job summary which includes essential job duties of the position. More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities.

Responsibilities :

·Drive the promoter team in achieving the off-take sales target, ensuring effective national and in-store campaign implementation and merchandising quality

·Develop Sales Promoters' capabilities and performance as well as support Key Account Manager in achieving the sales target for all GBUs

·Prepare monthly and mid-year meetings for Sales Promoters as well as training programmes

·Develop and conduct training for Sales Promoters with focus on merchandising, customer service and problem solving skills as well as product knowledge

·Work closely with the marketing team to define product merchandising standards

·Continuously monitor competitive activities and suggest necessary actions to protect or enhance the company's overall market share, both in units and value

·Visit stores to ensure planograms are updated and maintained on the shelves on an agreed basis

·Work closely with personnel of other divisions with NWL Malaysia in order to strengthen our overall market position

·Follow up orders and coordinate with sales personnel on goods receiving, stock update and SAS activities

·Update sales reports, verify promoter reports and analyse competitor reports

·Initiate and conduct promoter meetings periodically

·Actively identify and recruit potentials sales promoters from the market place who are also able to meet the company's expectations on working experience and attitude

Requirements :

·Degree in Management/Marketing or a related business discipline

·Supervisory experience in modern trade is preferred, especially in the multinational FMCG industry

·Key account management skills will be an added advantage

·Demonstrated ability to grow sales revenue as a result of a team leading initiative

·IT literate, good presentation skills and well groomed

·Knowledge of market trends and retail operations is an added advantage

·Hard-working, independent and self-motivated
