Territory Sales Manager, Rubbermaid Medical (St. Louis) Job

Rubbermaid Medical Solutions is rapidly developing solutions to support the integration of technology at the point of care in acute care hospitals. The territory includes several marquee clients that currently use our products, with significant opportunity for follow-on sales. In addition to our rapidly growing product offering, RMS has a dedicated service organization, providing best in class post-purchase support.
General Responsibilities:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing the dynamic territory and account challenges which confront salespeople in order to achieve the assigned sales and profitability targets. This position is responsible for achieving sales goals and market share growth objectives by creating a strong network of effective sales outlets in the assigned territory.
Duties:
·Analyzing geographic territory and trading markets, customer requirements and competitive activities to develop sales plans aimed toward achieving individual market and total sales goals.
·Work with the key accounts in the territory to develop the necessary sales outlet and trading area coverage and penetration strategies to reach assigned market share targets.
·Broaden the customer base within the region through new account identification.
·Develop relationships with key customers and distributors.
·Maintain contact providing technical product application assistance as required.
This position will cover St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas.
·4-year College Degree in business or a related field
·3-5 years of Sales, Management, and/or Channel experience
·Capital equipment sales experience in healthcare, preferably IT and/or Pharmacy
·Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
·Experience selling product with clinical benefit
·Must be self assured, tactful and supportive as this position maintains existing relationships with major hospitals/systems in the territory
