Business Development Manager - mimio Job

mimio, A Newell Rubbermaid Company, seeks a Trainer Program Specialist to join the mimio Professional Development team. The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of expanding the current Certified and Authorized Trainer programs.

Essential Duties:

·Support the ultimate goal of mimio's training department, which is extend advocacy to our existing mimio users.

·Support and extend the mimio Marketing team with valid educator insights and credentials.

·Continue to develop mimio interactive classroom training programs applicable to teachers and deliver training where and when Professional Development is required.

·Establish and maintain the education and pedagogical "credentials" for mimio technology products in the classroom by benchmarking and exceeding training offerings relative to key competitors.

In collaboration with the mimio Marketing team, conduct or define a staged development process to implement the following:

·Contribute to the ongoing improvements of the self-guided program.

·Contribute to the ongoing improvements of the mimio quick learn program.

·Contribute to the ongoing improvements of the mimio masters program.

·Conduct Teacher Team demonstrations of mimio at key trade shows and promotional events.

·Manage the development of the Certified and Authorized Trainer programs.

·Research and collect data relating to the training programs and offerings of competitive Interactive Whiteboard companies.

·As new mimio features or hardware extensions (ie. Student Response Systems, Document Cameras, etc.) are added to the mimio product line, integrate their training requirements into core training programs as needed.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience and other Requirements:

·3-5 years of Reseller experience

·Experience providing Professional Development plans as a source of revenue

·Actual classroom teaching experience

·Education degree

·Experience using Interactive Whiteboard and other Interactive Technologies

·Affinity for technology

·Strong oral and written communication skills

·Web browser, MS office skills

·Strong organization and time management skills

·A winning and positive attitude

·Highly motivated, well organized.

·Willing to travel.

·Outstanding presentation and communication skills

·Ability to manage others

·Candidate preferrably will be located on the West Coast
