Activities include designing studies, developing questionnaires, planning & identifying relevant samples, managing/conducting data collection in the field and associated in-field logistics, analyzing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations and presenting research findings.  This position will support the deeper understanding of marketing fundamentals as well as the innovation activities associated with new product development. They will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales and R&D while also interfacing with supplier/vendors on research. Working in conjunction with the Vice President, the Director of Channel Marketing is charged with the collaborative creation, development, execution, and measurement of the company's channel marketing strategy.  This strategy involves both cultivation of existing channels of distribution ("farming") and, importantly, the qualification, development, and ownership of new channels and routes to market ("hunting").  The Director will have direct reporting relationships with the Channel Managers.  <br/><br/>Additionally, the Director has responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, trade promotional planning, channel pricing strategy, merchandising display coordination and execution, category management, recruiting, staffing and training.
