More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities. <br/><br/>Job description: <br/><br/>-  PURPOSE OF POSITION / MAIN MISSION : <br/><br/>-         Validation of hardware and software packages, including application, drivers and embedded software, this by making use of test specifications <br/><br/>-         Maintenance of the testing tools and infrastructure <br/><br/>-         Providing support to internal and external clients in connection with the tested  products <br/><br/> MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES   <br/><br/>-         Preparation of the test project <br/><br/>-         Execute manual and automated tests <br/><br/>-         Report issues found <br/><br/>-         Handling customer inquiries <br/><br/>-         Maintain our test systems <br/><br/>-         Investigate new tools <br/><br/>MAIN ACTIVITIES  <br/><br/>1)      Preparation of the test project <br/><br/>o       Setup of test requirements based on the functional product specs <br/><br/>o       Setup of test case designs based on the test requirements <br/><br/>o       Setup of coverage matrix <br/><br/>2)      Execute manual product validation <br/><br/>o       Execute manual tests based on the test specification <br/><br/>o       Execute the manual tests as efficient as possible <br/><br/>3)      Test automation <br/><br/>o       Execute and/or adapt the automated scripts <br/><br/>4)      Test result reporting <br/><br/>o       Detailed reports of issues found <br/><br/>o       Progress report of the executed tests <br/><br/>5)      Jira administration <br/><br/>o       Maintenance of the system <br/><br/>o       Adapt or make new flows <br/><br/>o       Add new projects <br/><br/>6)      Investigate new tools <br/><br/>o       Look for new tools that can be used in the testing process (writing test cases, CM's, ?) <br/><br/>o       Look for tools that can make the testing more efficient (automation tools, VMware systems, ..). <br/><br/>7)      Maintenance local software database <br/><br/>o       Make sure we have the latest OS's available (Win &Mac) <br/><br/>o       Make sure we have the latest 3 rd  party app's available (e.g; Quickbooks, Act, ?) <br/><br/>o       Make sure we have the latest software tools available (WSftp, Acronis, ?) <br/><br/>8)      Maintenance of testlab server <br/><br/>o       Make backups of old projects <br/><br/>o       Remove redundant and obsolete items <br/><br/>9)      Maintenance of test systems (local and VMserver) <br/><br/>o       Install new configurations <br/><br/>o       Re-install problem systems <br/><br/>o       Backup of systems <br/><br/>10)      Third line support <br/><br/>o        Handling inquiries in a timely manner so that they fall within an acceptable service level. <br/><br/>o        Draw up technical documents that will enable company representatives to better-support DYMO products <br/><br/>·Bachelor's degree<br/><br/>·Relevant software testing experience for a few years<br/><br/>·English language (written and verbal)<br/><br/>·PC operating systems (Win & Mac)<br/><br/>·Knowledge of the most common Web browsers (IE, Firefox)<br/><br/>·Basic knowledge of networking<br/><br/>·MS Office<br/><br/>·Jira   admin<br/><br/>·Remedy<br/><br/>·Barcodes<br/><br/>·IAR programming tool<br/><br/>·Testing methodologies (ISEB, TMAP)<br/><br/>·Basic knowledge of 1 programming language<br/><br/>·<br/><br/>·Preferred Qualifications:<br/><br/>·<br/><br/>Consumer Products Industry Experience <br/><br/>·<br/><br/>Newell Rubbermaid and its Business Units are Equal Opportunity Employers and comply with applicable employment laws.
