Job description:

- PURPOSE OF POSITION / MAIN MISSION :

- Validation of hardware and software packages, including application, drivers and embedded software, this by making use of test specifications

- Maintenance of the testing tools and infrastructure

- Providing support to internal and external clients in connection with the tested products

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Preparation of the test project

- Execute manual and automated tests

- Report issues found

- Handling customer inquiries

- Maintain our test systems

- Investigate new tools

MAIN ACTIVITIES

1) Preparation of the test project

o Setup of test requirements based on the functional product specs

o Setup of test case designs based on the test requirements

o Setup of coverage matrix

2) Execute manual product validation

o Execute manual tests based on the test specification

o Execute the manual tests as efficient as possible

3) Test automation

o Execute and/or adapt the automated scripts

4) Test result reporting

o Detailed reports of issues found

o Progress report of the executed tests

5) Jira administration

o Maintenance of the system

o Adapt or make new flows

o Add new projects

6) Investigate new tools

o Look for new tools that can be used in the testing process (writing test cases, CM's, ?)

o Look for tools that can make the testing more efficient (automation tools, VMware systems, ..).

7) Maintenance local software database

o Make sure we have the latest OS's available (Win &Mac)

o Make sure we have the latest 3 rd party app's available (e.g; Quickbooks, Act, ?)

o Make sure we have the latest software tools available (WSftp, Acronis, ?)

8) Maintenance of testlab server

o Make backups of old projects

o Remove redundant and obsolete items

9) Maintenance of test systems (local and VMserver)

o Install new configurations

o Re-install problem systems

o Backup of systems

10) Third line support

o Handling inquiries in a timely manner so that they fall within an acceptable service level.

o Draw up technical documents that will enable company representatives to better-support DYMO products

·Bachelor's degree

·Relevant software testing experience for a few years

·English language (written and verbal)

·PC operating systems (Win & Mac)

·Knowledge of the most common Web browsers (IE, Firefox)

·Basic knowledge of networking

·MS Office

·Jira admin

·Remedy

·Barcodes

·IAR programming tool

·Testing methodologies (ISEB, TMAP)

·Basic knowledge of 1 programming language
