More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities. <br/><br/>Newell Rubbermaid - Decor, a leading manufacturer of custom blinds, shades, drapery hardware, and cabinet hardware is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to add to its dynamic, high-energy and results-driven staff. <br/><br/>RESPONSIBILITIES  <br/><br/>·         Develop financial analyses for new product introductions and assigned customers. <br/><br/>·         Analyze promotional/pricing opportunities using financial models. <br/><br/>·         Analyze SG&A expenses, develop forecasts, and explain variances versus budget and latest estimate. <br/><br/>·         Budget, forecast, and report customer rebate programs. <br/><br/>·         Prepare and analyze monthly Customer/Product Profitability and/or Billing Meeting to assist management with decision-making. <br/><br/>·         Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. <br/><br/>·         Remain compliant with SOX and GAAP principles in assigned areas. <br/><br/>·         Assist in internal and external audit process. <br/><br/>·         Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management.     <br/><br/>·Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred.<br/><br/>·3-5 years experience in finance/accounting, with a demonstrated record of increasing levels of responsibility. Consumer products experience preferred.<br/><br/>·Ability to develop financial analyses and support a conclusion within limited time constraints utilizing limited or less than perfect information.<br/><br/>·Strong foundation with Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel, Powerpoint, and Access).<br/><br/>·Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.<br/><br/>·Results oriented. More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities. <br/><br/>The Assistant Treasurer will report to the Treasurer and will be responsible for capital structure management, financing, global cash management, interest and cash forecasting, developing and maintaining banking relationships, global financial risk management, FAS 133, SOX compliance and special assignments including acquisitions and divestitures.  Responsible for the global cash and financial risk management functions of Newell Rubbermaid, cash and short-term investment management and capital structure management.  Additional responsibilities include the following: <br/><br/>·Provide advice and implement financing alternatives to meet company objectives and minimize the company's cost of capital.<br/><br/>·Regularly evaluate long term funding alternatives, including evolving financing technology and equity.<br/><br/>·Forecast cash flow, estimate financing requirements and recommend appropriate timing and type of funding.<br/><br/>·Manage the company's global and in-country cash pooling to provide adequate liquidity to fund the working capital needs of the business while minimizing excess cash balances.<br/><br/>·Manage the company's commercial paper and letter of credit programs.<br/><br/>·Manage the company's revolving credit program and develop and maintain relationships with participating banks.<br/><br/>·Develop relationships with other banks and financing institutions that may have a strategic fit with Newell Rubbermaid.<br/><br/>·Manage the company's interest expense budget.<br/><br/>·Work closely with the tax, legal and accounting functions on internal financing arrangements, capitalizations repatriation of cash, acquisitions, divestitures, etc<br/><br/>·Manage the company's interest rate, foreign exchange and commodities risk management programs, including forecasting rates and recommendations hedging strategies.<br/><br/>·Oversee the execution of risk management strategies, including SWAPS, forwards, options, spot transactions, locks, derivatives and balance sheet hedges.<br/><br/>·Ensure the company's compliance with all accounting policies relating to treasury activity (cash, investments, debt, capital, interest, derivatives, fx, etc.) including FAS 133 and update Sarbanes.<br/><br/>·Perform funding analysis and provide recommendations relating to acquisition opportunities.<br/><br/>·Ensure effective integration of acquisitions and TSA's relating to divestitures.<br/><br/>·Develop and maintain treasury KPI's and performance metric reporting.<br/><br/>·Full budget responsibility for global treasury functions.<br/><br/>·Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; Masters degree preferred<br/><br/>·7-10 years experience in corporate treasury<br/><br/>·International experience required, including foreign currency and foreign debt<br/><br/>·Strong finance/accounting background and the demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people<br/><br/>·Experience with hedge accounting and accounting for derivatives<br/><br/>·Strong corporate cash and risk management experience<br/><br/>·Aggressive, creative, articulate, results oriented<br/><br/>·Ability to grow and change with the organization <br/><br/>·The ability to prioritize and effectively delegate is also a must<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications: <br/><br/>·Consumer Products Industry experience <br/><br/>·Experience with SAP and SAP Treasury application<br/><br/>Newell Rubbermaid and its Business Units are Equal Opportunity Employers and comply with applicable employment laws.
